C. L. Thomas, Inc. Acquires The Assets Of Haycock Petroleum VICTORIA, TX. OCTOBER 1, 2009 – C. L. Thomas, Inc. (C. L. Thomas) announced today the acquisition of the operating assets of Haycock Petroleum Company (Haycock) and affiliated companies headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah: Bowen Petroleum Company, Petro Express, Inc. and Bowen Trucking, Inc. Haycock is a leading supplier of truck and cardlock delivered fuels, lubricants, propane and related value-added services to retail, mining, agricultural, and commercial and industrial customers in the Intermountain West and Eastern Sierra regions. Haycock operates sixteen warehouse / bulk plants and numerous cardlock facilities, in Utah, Nevada, Idaho and California. C. L. Thomas was founded in 1980 by Cliff Thomas and is headquartered in Victoria, Texas. C. L. Thomas’ Wholesale Division, Thomas Petroleum, consists of 12 warehouses / bulk plants in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and New Mexico and has become one of the preeminent petroleum marketers in the Southwestern United States, providing a comprehensive fuel, lubricant and chemical product offering to oil field services, commercial and industrial customers. In addition, Thomas Petroleum provides fuel to over 200 dealers in Texas. C. L. Haycock will operate as the Western Division of Thomas Petroleum (Thomas West) and will continue to market and operate under its current trade names: Haycock Petroleum, Jardine Petroleum, Bowen Petroleum, Eastern Sierra Oil and Castle Country Oil.
